Arni: uh....hello...

Shameka: my husband told me there is lots going on in this house! I don't like to be left out, I want to know the gossip as well!

Arni: uhm I feel so uncomfortable with ghosts...

Shameka: nonsense! Come here and tell your old mother in law every single bit of gossip!

Arni: it's not gossip really...it's just...you know Amy has had a boyfriend for a while now...

Shameka: no I don't...nobody ever tells me anything!

Arni: well she does, his name is Mark and they've been friends since they were kids...

Shameka: oh how cute!

Arni: yes...and now...well, she's expecting a baby...

Shameka: awww really! Congratulations! When is the wedding? Please remind to invite me this time...

Arni: er...I don't think there's going to be a wedding, really...

Shameka: oh no, why? I love weddings!

Arni: well, it's a bit too early...since they're not young adults yet....

Shameka: what! Do you mean she's still ..... holy plumbob, how could you let your teen ager daughter get pregnant! Shame on you Arni, I don't recognise you anymore!

Arni: Honestly, I don't think we really had a saying in this...these things just happen...it's shocking though...but well...once we got over the shock we were really happy to welcome this new baby in the family...

Shameka: yes, yes, babies are a blessing....so when is the baby due? I want to be here when it happens! I want to be the first one to meet my first great grandchild!

Arni: I don't really know...by Snowflake Day I would say!

Shameka: aww a Snowflake child! Wonderful! Speaking of which, Arni, you should really start decorating the house! It's Snowflake eve for plumbob's sake!

Arni: and five in the morning....

Shameka: yeah yeah...oh well, I'll just go having a nap on my favourite rocking chair before heading back...thanks for updating me with the news, Arni!

Arni: no problem...

Benjamin: hey! What are you doing there? I wanted that chair!

Shameka: too late my dear father in law! Too late...

Benjamin: morning Arni...

Arni: uh?

Benjamin: just going upstairs okay?

Arni: whatever...

Benjamin: oooh nooooo Jonathan the squirrel has passed away!

Benjamin: this is so sad...

Lumikki: I know! But wait, does it mean he's going to be a ghost like you know? Is he going to visit as well?

Amy: hello grand grandpa...

Benjamin: uh...

Benjamin: dear me, put some clothes on girl! Aren't you ashamed of yourself girl?

Amy: honestly? No. Why should I be? It's my house!

Benjamin: besides, you should start exercising more you know, it looks like you put some extra pounds since I last saw you...

Amy: yeah...but that's probably because I'm pregnant...

Amy: are you going to annoy me as grand grandpa Benjamin has just done?

Shameka: no, love, I'm just going to grab a piece of cake...eww something smells really bad in here!

Shameka: luckily it wasn't the cake! Bye love, let me know when the baby arrives! And of course, you'll call her Shameka if it's a girl, right?

Amy: yeah yeah....sure....

Amy: why don't these ghosts just leave me alone...

June: oh, don't worry about them, they're just old grumpy ghosts...but they're harmless really!

June: now, how about banana pancakes for breakfast? It's Snowflake eve, and we need a good breakfast before decorating the house!

Amy: sounds yummi thanks mum...I'm sure baby will like pancakes!

Amy: I'll go take out the trash in the meanwhile...granny Shameka was right, something was smelling really bad in the fridge...

June: everyone, come and get your pancake!

Benjamin: move aside, son, I need to get my pancake before it's too late and I have to go back to the netherworld!

Arni: hey, I was first!

June: ... Queue up nicely and don't push!

Susan: oooh pancakes! yummi!

Susan: oh please, why do we always have to have ghosts stealing our food?

Benjamin: hey, who moved the plate? I can't reach!

Arni: oh well, I got my pancakes and I'm alright!

Benjamin: argh, too late!

Amy: poor grand grandpa, he was so close...

Tobias: hello? Someone move grand grandpa, I can't get to my pancakes!

Arni: come on guys only four of you to go...no wait, where is Alice?

Catherine: she overslept but she's coming...

Susan: oh good, I got the last pancake!

Catherine: where.....where are my pancakes?

Catherine; Alice, you skipped the queue and took my pancake! This is not fair!

Catherine: but hey, it's Snowflake eve! This is so exciting! We're going to decorate the whole house woo hoo!

Michael: Cath, you sure you're okay?

Susan: I didn't know you were suffering from mood swings...welcome to the club!

Tobias: argh, this dishwasher, I can't stand its noise!

Alice: I mean, we've been living here, how long? And still you haven't got used to it?

Amy: I'm still hungry...I think baby wants more pancakes....give me more pancakes, now!

Alice: oh stop eating sister and let's go decorate the house! I can't wait!

Catherine: well, I think we're done...

Alice: and it looks lovely, doesn't it?

Catherine: yeah, the Snowflake Spirit has finally come to this house!

Arni: and to give a finishing touch, Snowflake Carols! Sing with me, people! *singing* On the first day of Simsmas the Sims 3 gave to me: a parrot in the Sims 3.....

June: good work guys, it finally looks like Snowflake time!

Michael: I love the tree! With the lights...and the presents!

Susan: Snowflake day...I don't think I've ever celebrated one away from my family...and we didn't have much money so we couldn't afford all the decorations...

Susan: actually, I've never seen so many decorations...I feel like I want to cry! But I'm not going to cry...I'm an evil witch and I'm not going to cry!

Michael: oh my girlfriend is so cute! I can just imagine when we'll have our own house...many Snowflake days to come, just us and our kids...I just can't wait to start our own family!

Susan: what did you just say?

Michael: exactly what you heard...we've talked about this, remember?

Susan: yeah yeah...I just don't understand how you could still want to make a family...with someone like me...are you still sure?

Michael: 100% positive, I've got the most adorable evil witch and childhood sweetheart next to me, what could I want more?

Amy: my brother is so keen on starting a family...that is sweet...maybe they can help me care of my baby when it's born? Since as things are now, it looks like I'm going to be a single mum...*sighs* I'm so lucky to have such a big loving family around me...and so is the baby!

Lumikki: good, good, now the house finally looks like it's Snowflake Day! I wonder what Santa Plumbob will bring us? I do hope he brings happiness to all my family! It's heartbreaking to see them cry...

Lumikki: and this is the perfect time for joy and happiness! Snoflake time is my favourite, I became part of this family one Snowflake day long time ago!

Lumikki: so with a bit of luck everybody will be happy by Snowflake day...tomorrow! Santa Plumbob had better work hard this year!

Scarlette: The house is amazing Toby! You can really feel the Snowflake spirit all around!

Tobias: yes...although I did like our first Snowflake celebrations at Uni as well!

Scarlette: I feel so lucky, we had two Snowflake days this year! And everybody is so happy, and there is so much love in the air! I love this time of year!

Alice: actually, love is not in the air for everyone really...

Catherine: ....I'm sure we'll find it again, Alice...

Alice: seriously? You say that because you can't see your face Catherine...who are you kidding? You're not going to get over Jay so easily...

Catherine: no, I'm not...but you have hope, you're so young Alice...

Alice: I'm not sure I want to fall for anyone else, really. Love is too painful, I was so right when I was younger, I thought it would be enough for me to read about love and romance in books...and that's what I should go back to! Life was so much easier, back then...but hey, I think a little Snowflake spirit would do go to someone in particular this year...

Alice: hey sis...you okay?

Amy: yeah...

Amy: the house looks beautiful, doesn't it?

Alice: indeed!

Amy: makes you feel warm and loved...it feels good...specially now...

Alice: Amy, we all love you and will be there for you and your baby, no matter what, you know that...

Amy: I know...

Alice: but you know what? I have a feeling you won't be alone for long...

Amy: what do you mean?

Alice: I mean that since you first met as kids, Mark hasn't been able to stay away from you too long...and neither can he now....he'll come back, you'll see...

June: so, ready?

Scarlette: ready...

June: so, this is one recipe my grandmother Juliet taught me...pumpkin cake! Look, it's not too difficult...but the secret is to have fresh pumpkin...and to put a little bit of cinnamon in the dough!

Tobias: oh, cake! Are you passing your 10 level cooking skill onto my wife, mum?

Tobias: well done, well done I approve...

June: I'm teaching her one of Juliet's secret recipes...it must be passed on to the girls in the family...those who appreciate it! Now my dear son, you're very welcome to drink your coffee in the living room, or dining room, or whatever you wish room, but not here, this is girl's stuff!

Tobias: I'll leave you girls to it then! The rest of the family will be waiting to see the results!

June: so, see, now that you have all the ingredients in the bowl, you mix them together and voilà, it's ready to go in the oven!

June: ....and ta dah! It's ready!

Scarlette: wow...

June: and I suggest we eat our slice of cake first...I think we have deserved it!

Scarlette: wow, this is really good, I can really taste the cinnamon...I love cinnamon!

Scarlette: how can you be this good at cooking? Where did you learn your skills? Or is it a natural trait?

June: I'd say both... I have the natural cook trait, plus I learnt from the best, my granny Juliet

June: we had opened a restaurant back in Appaloosa Plains, you know...who knows how it's going now, unluckily we had to sell it...but hopefully there will still be the pictures from the opening party hanging on the walls! Hey, what about your life wishes? Ever thought about the cooking career?

Scarlette: uhm...actually I've always wanted to become a doctor...

June: too bad, we could have opened a new restaurant in here you know...oh well, you never know, in case you have some spare time after visiting patients and curing illnesses maybe...

June: oh my goodness, the washing machine is so noisy! Why hasn't anyone upgraded it yet?

Arni: hey girls, what's this lovely smell?

Arni: ooh pumpkin cake! Yummi! Save me a second slice please...

June: no way, there are so many people in this family I can't feed everyone if you take double portions my dear husband! Hey, instead of eating cake, why don't you go check who's at the door? I think I heard the doorbell...

Catherine: uh...who could that be? Anyone expecting a visitor?

Catherine: ....Mark....

Mark: ....

Catherine: are you here to see Amy?

Mark: yes, please, I need to talk to her....

Catherine: that is, if she wants to talk to you....

Mark: Amy!

Amy: what---

Amy: yeah....

Mark: good. So, let's avoid small talk and let's go straight to the point. You're having a baby, Amy.

Amy: well, thanks for spotting that, Mark *smirks*

Mark: my baby.

Amy: yes, we know that.

Mark: so?

Amy: so what?

Mark: what do you want to do? Have you thought about it? Have you thought it over...after our last conversation?

Amy: uhm...I had given it one or two thoughts, yes...

Mark: oh please, Amy, stop teasing me! I'm trying to do a serious discussion here!

Amy: sorry Mark, it just came natural, I had never seen you trying to be so serious! *giggles*

Mark: whatever...look, I don't want to waste my time...or yours...

Amy: .....

June: there you are....eating the whole pie...

Michael: this is really good mum!

June: it was supposed to be the afternoon tea cake but anyway...any idea on when we'll be able to take possession of the living room again?

Alice: nope...

Mark: ok, ok, I get it Amy, it was useless to come here...it's evident you don't want me anymore...but I thought we could at least talk, discuss things...it's my baby and I want to be part of his life! Or her life...

Amy: oh, that's so touching... you're so sweet Mark!

Mark: meaning?

Amy: meaning what?

Mark: I don't get it Amy...tell me once and for all, do you want me in your life or not?

Amy: I mean, isn't it clear by now, Mark?

Mark: uhm...no?

Amy: of course I want you in my life Mark! And in our baby's life!

Mark: but....last time we talked you told me to leave...

Amy: no, you decided to leave! I never sent you away...

Mark: but you had said...

Amy: that I didn't want to marry you, yes, and I still don't!

Mark: oh....so...uhm I'm not sure I'm quite understanding what you want to say...

Amy: oh come on Mark, look at us, we're too young to get married! And with a very unexpected baby coming along...

Amy: it's too much! Too much all together, I can't do it now! All this freaks me out, can't you understand it? I mean, seems like yesterday that we decided to form a band...to be able to sneak in the garage and make out!

Mark: oh yes, I remember this...sweet memories...

Amy: and now, there's a baby on the way! I mean, a baby, a real one, another being that is going to need care and attention 24/7! Doesn't this freak you out, Mark?

Mark: well...now that I think of it....no, it doesn't. I mean, yeah, a little bit, but I'm more excited than frightened. And I think it's a good thing, and we can do it together Amy! I've always wanted to start a family with you....I've always known you were the one!

Amy: Mark...

Mark: it's a scary thought if you're alone, yes...but you're not alone Amy, we're in this together and I want us to be in this together forever! I understand that maybe it's a little more overwhelming for you... but I do want to be next to you, to take care of our baby with you...and I really hope you like the idea as much as I do...

Amy: but what about...the rest of things...I'm not ready...

Mark: that can wait...if you give me hope that one day we'll live together in our own house as husband and wife, then I can wait of course...until you're ready...so what do you say?

Lumikki: ... [hey you, dark haired kid, stop smooching my human and move aside, I want to take a nap on this couch right now!]

Alice: oh good, glad to see you've made up! Everything ok now? Can we come back in then?

Amy: Alice! You startled us, we hadn't heard you coming...

Mark: that was embarrassing...

Alice: oh please, as if it were the first time you were making out in public...

Alice: so, everything alright now?

Amy: yes, everything alright...

Alice: good...good! See? I had told you! It's Snowflake eve, miracles happen in this time of year!

Lumikki: ... [good, good, a little bit more on the right please...oh yes this is good!]

Lumikki: wof! [I approve of this guy, he brushes nicely...can we keep him?]

Alice: see? He's already part of the family!

Amy: so sweet...

Alice: so here we are, happy ending for all of us...well, almost all of us...

Catherine: Amy!

Amy: hey Cath...

Catherine: so, you alright? Everything okay?

Amy: yes...I'm fine, we are fine...

Catherine: oh, it's amazing! I had told you, hadn't I.... and I'm so happy for you!

Catherine: and I can't wait to be an auntie! When is the baby due?

Mark: hopefully soon! I can't wait to meet my son or daughter!

Lumikki: hey, why did you stop? I want more cuddles!

Mark: hello there baby! How are you doing in there? Any chances we're gonna see you anytime soon?

Mark: wait, what did you say? Oh really? Well that would be nice!

Amy: *giggles* what are you two talking about?

Mark: I think baby said it wants to be a Snowflake baby! That's what it's waiting for!

Mark: It would be cool to have a Snowflake baby, wouldn't it?

Amy: I guess...but I feel like I'm exploding here, so the sooner the better!

Mark: I can't wait to hold our baby, Amy! Isn't it exciting?

June: oh, I'm so happy my family is happy again!

Catherine: yes...so happy for them...I only wish I could be that happy...I know it's impossible but it doesn't hurt trying....please, Santa Plumbob, bring Jay back to me...and bring the elf guy back to Alice...and if this is impossible, make her meet someone else, she's so young, she deserves to be happy! As for me, Jay is the one, I don't want anyone else, so do bring me Jay back!

Mark: hey baby, I had a quick check and we would all like a Snowflake baby! So get ready in there, it's almost time to join the family!

Amy: you're so sweet Mark, you make me feel like smiling all the time!

Mark: well, it would be a bit of a problem if I would make you feel like crying all the time so I guess it's all good!

Amy: yes, it's all good...

Alice: aww you pretty little thing! Want a cuddle, Rembrandt?

June: good, now only two to go...dear Santa Plumbob, Snowflake spirit, or whoever this might concern, please bring happiness to Alice and Catherine this Snowflake day...there, I said it, this is my Snowflake wish! And now I'd better bake some more cake to feed this expanding family...

Scarlette: hey Amy! So I hear everything is fine with you and Mark!

Amy: yes, it is...

Scarlette: woo hoo this is great! I'm so happy for you!

Amy: thanks Scarlette...

Scarlette: congratulations! And of course I can't wait to meet the baby!

Mark: he or she is probably going to join the family tomorrow on Snowflake Day...

Amy: come on, we're not sure of that...

Mark: no, but I have a feeling this is what's going to happen!

Amy: now, please, let the old lady through, I do need to sit down, my back is aching so much!

Amy: my family is so sweet...I couldn't ask for a better one...and hey you, down there, you'll be one happy baby and everyone will take care of you, you know?

Michael: hey guys, more cake is ready!

Mark: good, I'm starving!

June: well, I had baked this cake for afternoon tea time...but since a lot happened and it's quite late now I guess this is going to be our Snowflake Eve's dinner!

Alice: doesn't matter mum, as long as there's cake!

Scarlette: wow all the family together...this is so nice, I'm so happy to be part of this family...thank you for making me feel part of it since the first time I met you...

Susan: and me...

Mark: and me of course!

Tobias: we all love you guys...as we all love big family gatherings and meals!

Lumikki: oh yes, we love that! And I love to see my family happy...

Scarlette: I'm so happy for you guys, you know? And I'm so jealous, I can't wait to have my own baby! But in the meanwhile, I can't wait to be an auntie!

Amy: aww thanks Scarlette...

Scarlette: have you decided the name yet?

Mark: not really...

Mark: we haven't had time to discuss this really...

Scarlette: of course...

Amy: I think we'll wait to see if it's a boy or a girl and then we'll let he or she inspire us!

Scarlette: oh nice...and I believe you won't have to wait too long now!

Mark: nope, she looks like she's going to pop any minute now! Come on Amy, let's go rest on the couch...

Amy: I'm pregnant, Mark, not sick...

Scarlette: that Snowflake log...I can swear I saw it moving!

Tobias: oh no worries love, might have been just the ghosts...

Amy: oh my goodness I feel sick!

Tobias: what! Is the baby coming?!

Amy: no, I think I just ate too much cake...

Michael: oh...

Amy: I think I need to sit down...my belly is even bigger after the cake!

Catherine: well, it's almost time, isn't it? I would be lovely if your baby arrived on Snowflake day...and the day is almost here!

Amy: I know...and I'm feeling a little nervous now...and you all reminding me is not helping me relax at all...

Michael: a new baby in the family, I can't wait! Although I had always thought the first babies of the new generation would be mine and Susie's...but oh well, I guess I'll train as uncle before becoming a daddy myself!

Michael: and it's almost nightfall...Snowflake Day is almost here! So exciting!

June: are you ok, love? Feeling anything yet?

Amy: oh please! Everyone just stop talking about this! I need to relax okay? And keep my mind off this...I don't want to get even more stress!

June: you're right, you're right...just come here and watch some telly...there must be some Snowflake movie on!

June: feeling any better?

Catherine: oh my goodness, I really can't wait to meet my nephew or niece!

Amy: oh please! I know you're all excited but hey, my baby, my as-big-as-a-watermelon belly, my scare for the labour part of it!

June: Cath, leave her alone she's a bit stressed...

Amy: I'm not stressed!

Mark: relax Amy, it's gonna be fine...

Catherine: sorry Amy, I didn't want to stress you but....I'm so excited for your baby!

Amy: it's ok it's just...I just need to rest...

Mark: exactly, you should rest, Amy, and it's quite late I think we should go to sleep...

Amy: yeah maybe it's a good idea...good night everyone, see you on Snowflake Day!

June: yes, I'm a bit tired as well...I think I'll go to bed as well. I wonder where your father is though...I haven't seen him for a while...

Arni: come on, move!

Michael: I came here before you, dad...

Arni: I wasn't telling you, son, I was telling our boney maid! How come she never does anything and she decides to clean the toilet now?

Bonehilda: I'm sorry sir, I was programmed to clean things when I see them dirty...and this toilet was very dirty! I think it's gonna take a while...but you're welcome to use other toilets if your need is urgent!

Arni: but I wanted to use this one!

Michael: no, I wanted to use this one, I came here first...

Catherine: ....and it's just the two of us left. I wonder where everyone else is...

Alice: cuddling under the blanket I believe...it's nice to see everyone happy, isn't it?

Catherine: yeah....everyone but us, though...

Alice: well, it's not that we're not happy, it's just.... that side of our lives isn't that great at the moment...but all the rest is fine! And it's Snowflake time, we should all be happy...

Catherine: yeah, but it's a quite important side, you know...

Alice: yes, but not that important...I mean, there are people who never get married and are happy and content anyway...maybe we're two of those people...

Catherine: maybe I am, but not you Alice...I've told you already, you're young and beautiful and I'm sure someone else will notice that and fall for you! Please open your heart to him when this happens...

Alice: and you!

Catherine: I wish it was so simple but it isn't....I tried to get him out of my mind but it's impossible...he's there...he'll always be... the thing is, we have never had a real closure... he didn't leave because he didn't love me anymore but because he needed to find himself.... so part of me is always waiting .... hoping that one day he'll come back .... but so much time has passed...

Alice: and you can't wait forever ....

Catherine: oh no, I can....and I will...

Alice: but Cath... you just said....

Catherine: yes, I said you should go on. Not me. I've realised it for some time now. Now, I think I'll go to bed, how about you?

Alice: there are no free beds for me Cath, Mark is using mine tonight, needs to be close to Amy you know... I think I'll sleep here...

Catherine: oh no, poor you...but you're welcome to share mine! I don't want you to sleep on the couch on Snowflake night!

Alice: no worries, I'll be alright...I think I need a bit of peace and quiet...snow falling outside, candle light... it helps me think...

Alice: so much time has passed from that picture! Seems like ages ago, we were still kids! And look at us now...one married, one soon to be, I guess, one pregnant and then Catherine and me...hopefully things will turn out alright for us as well...at some point...

Alice: but in the meanwhile, no point in crying over lost love...better enjoy the few things that still make me happy...like Snowflake night!

Alice: and if Santa Plumbob really exists...I hope he'll listen to our wishes and helps to make them come true...

Alice: uh...what's going on? Lumikki why are you barking?

Lumikki: wake up Alice, wake up! There's someone in the house, but don't worry if he turns out nasty I'll bite him out of here!

Alice: uh....what's going on here...wh----

Alice: ---what! You!

Lumikki: not a friend of yours? Good, I was thinking to get myself something to bite...and this guy's leg looks tasty...

Alice: Leo.....

Leo: cute things those reindeers, but I have to say that travelling among all those parcels wasn't that comfortable....

Alice: no way, don't tell me you've been offered a lift from Santa Plumbob! I mean, the Santa Plumbob?

Leo: well, I don't really know who he was, we didn't talk much, he was quite in a rush, said he had stuff to do, a job to finish before sunrise...do you know him?

Alice: oh my goodness...I didn't even know if he was for real! I can't believe it!

Leo: well, I was really lucky he gave me a lift, otherwise it would have taken ages to reach you in this weather!

Alice: right...I still can't believe you're here Leo...are you sure I'm not dreaming?

Leo: well, I'm not sure about you but I know I'm real... but hey, does this mean you dream of me often? *smiles*

Alice: well, what are you waiting for Amy? You two get changed...there's a Snowflake family lunch and celebrations waiting! It's finally time to celebrate.... Snowflake Day....Snowflake magic....true love, family and new arrivals!

Tobias: come on guys, we're starving here!

Mark: just one more minute!

Amy: good boy Nick, have a little nap while mommy eats her lunch...and then I'm gonna give you loads of cuddles again!

June: look at her Arni...

Arni: I know...

June: after all....I think we've done a good job....

Arni: that we have! It's a bit sad though...them growing up, having kids of their own...families of their own! They're going to leave home soon...our work is done, June...

June: done? Oh no my dear husband, I think you're mistaken... I think we've just started the second half of it! *smiles*

Arni: so, what can I say....this has been quite an eventful Snowflake Day so far! Santa Plumbob has brought us many things this year....Elves in his sleigh...captains in house boats...little bundles of joy! But most of all, happiness and love to share in the family.

Everyone: Happy Snowflake Day!

Susan: but hey, aren't you all forgetting something?

Amy: what more?

Susan: there's a pile of presents still waiting for us in the living room!

June: of course it is...but what's more than having my wonderful family happy and smiling all around me? I think I already got my gift...

Tobias: and me...

Scarlette: and me....

Michael: and all of us I suppose!

Susan: ....yes yes, of course...but still...would you mind if I just opened one little package?

Mark: let's go open the presents!

Catherine: wait....we need to wash the dishes first....

Jay: oh no, that spoils all the fun...

Leo: I don't understand why, you do have a dishwasher, don't you?

Catherine: yeah...but you've no idea...with so many people clearing their plates...there'll be a queue till tomorrow morning!

Catherine: well, this wasn't so bad, wasn't it?

Jay: nope...it's just 11 p.m.....

Catherine: which means it's still Snowflake Day! Perfect timing! Come on guys, let's open the presents!

Catherine: Who's going first?

Jay: I think you should go first, my love...

Susan: no, wait, I wanted to be the first one!

Michael: Susie, let the younger kids first....

Alice: oh, I think I'll let my twin sister open the dance...it's her big day after all!

Amy: oh, thank you sis, but Nick just fell asleep, can't get up now... Mark?

Mark: uh...I don't think I should be the first one...uhm....Leo, you go first...

Leo: me? Oh no, I'm the last one arrived...I think Mrs Love should be the first one, she deserves it after cooking such a lovely meal!

June: oh Leo, always the gentlemen...but no, I think I shall let the new generation go first...Scarlette, how about you?

Scarlette: oh no, I can't be the first one, I'm too shy! Toby, you go first and I go second!

Tobias: well, yes I could do it....but I think my dad deserves it more...after all...he just became a grandpa!

Arni: I.... I can't be a grandpaaaaaa!!! But hey, my back is aching....I can't get up...Catherine, your turn, off you go...

Catherine: Oh please ..... I knew it! We're gonna stay here all night.....

So...here we are....finally after 2 years Generation 3 has come to a close and it's time for you to choose your favourite Love kid to carry on with Generation 4! But....who will you vote?

Will you choose Toby, maybe? Tobias was the first born of this generation. His LTW is to become a creature-robot cross breeder (like his mum's original LTW!) He likes soul music, black and aloo masala curry....strange, I would have sworn his favourite food was hot dogs ;) I might need to change that!

Toby was a quiet happy child, loving life and family. In particular, he loved his great grandmother Juliet and his little sister Catherine, although she used to be very bossy as a child. Before welcoming his other younger siblings, Tobias welcomed his older cousins Caroline and Oriana as sisters, when a major family drama hit their families and they moved to the main legacy house. Eventually, once become a teen, he followed them to Monte Vista in their search for his aunt Hildur, while bringing little Catherine along, of course. But it was before going on that adventure, that, without really knowing, he started the most important adventure of his life... it was on the night of his birthday party that in the park he got a glimpse of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen...and she was wearing a hot dog costume! But from that moment on he would never forget her...his hot dog girl! No matter his siblings were trying to tell him she had just been a dream...deep down he knew she wasn't! And it was when he had lost all hopes that he actually met her again...a wonderful green haired girl named Scarlette, who, guess what, was attending the science courses at University as well! She had the dream of becoming a doctor while he wanted to be a scientist. Needless to say, the two of them hit it off...regardless the efforts of evil flatmate Rebecca who tried by all means to break them apart!

And it was while reconciling after yet one of Rebecca's evil tricks that Toby found out that Scarlette actually remembered having met him all that time ago, while wearing a hot dog costume...it was love written in the stars! ;) Again, needless to say that after the first term the two became inseparable, and later on they moved in together, sharing a house with other friends for the last term in University. 

With Scarlette by his side, Toby felt like all his dreams had come true...all but one! Asking her to become his wife. And it was so that before Snowflake Day Toby and Scarlette were married in Hidden Springs, surrounded by loving family. And they can't wait to have a family of their own!

....or maybe you will vote for Catherine? Catherine was the second born and she likes classical music, red and spaghetti, and her LTW is to become a forensic specialist DNA profiler (or something like that. Police career anyway!).

Catherine was for quite some time the only daughter and as a kid she felt like everyone was treating her as a little princess. Consequently, she was quite bossy and demanding as the princess she was. Especially with her older brother Toby, who she loved to bits, but who she considered her private property, not to be shared with anyone else. So her feelings were a bit hurt when two new "sisters", cousins Caroline and Oriana, joined the household. Tobias was spending more time with them than with her and it wasn't fair! So she couldn't wait to grow up from toddlerhood to claim her brother back. The issue was, the age parity didn't last long and once again she found herself the youngest of the group, when her teen brother and cousins decided to leave for an expedition in Monte Vista to trace Oriana's mum. However, she was not to be left behind! And it was good that she wasn't, because brave little Catherine helped the kids to get out of a sticky situation when they were attacked by a local gang. She didn't think twice before saying one thing or two to the gang leader who had first insulted her cousin Oriana and then picked up a fight with her beloved brother Toby. Catherine's bravery impressed one of the gang boys, and without them knowing it yet, this was going to stick to the boy's mind for a long time... some time later, little after the family had moved to Hidden Springs, teen Catherine was doing her usual morning jog when she spotted a peculiar building on the sea. It was a house built on a boat...she had never seen anything like that before and couldn't resist getting closer to investigate. She thought the boat might belong to an artist who, like her, loved to paint. She was fascinated and couldn't get away in time, before the boat owner thought her a burglar. The boat owner, Jay, was indeed an artist, although not a very nice guy....in fact, he was quite rude...so why couldn't she stay away from him? Eventually the two became friends...good friends...or more? But although Catherine could guess he liked her as well, he was older and he didn't dare to make a move.

Catherine's bravery came to help again, when on the night of her birthday she went to see him as a young adult...and made her position very clear! But Jay tried to push her away because due to a mysterious troubled past he wasn't sure he could be with her...but eventually he gave in and became her boyfriend. Catherine was over the moon and started spending a lot of time in Jay's houseboat. Almost like a married couple! She still couldn't understand what Jay's troubled past was, and why he didn't really approve of her career choice - after all, since that encounter with that gang in Monte Vista she had always wanted to be in the police! - but other than that, she had an amazing boyfriend and an amazing life. Unluckily, happiness didn't last long when one night after a perfect date they were approached by a group of not very respectable people who seemed to know Jay... and the likeness with that gang from Monte Vista was too striking .... so Catherine and Jay realised they had actually met before, when Catherine's bravery in standing up to the gang leader had really impressed Jay... sounds like a happy ending, was it not for its complications. Apparently the gang leader had never been happy with Jay leaving the gang and tried to give him a hard time, even explaining to Catherine some of Jay's dark secrets. But Catherine couldn't care less and as the policewoman she was, she had them safely transported to the police station before they could cause more damage.

But they had damaged Jay. After that night, he felt he had to face his past and find out who he was and decided to leave, leaving Catherine broken hearted. It was a very hard time for Catherine, but luckily she had her family supporting her. Eventually she felt better, but couldn't get over Jay: part of her would wait for him forever. And she did. It was painful to see her siblings having successful love lives, when she knew she would never allow anyone else to take Jay's place in her heart. But she waited, patiently. Until on Snowflake morning a boat was spotted...or was it a house? Finally Jay had come back to her and finally they could be happy again, together, forever!

Are Catherine and Jay your favourite couple?

...or perhaps you wish to vote for Michael? The third kid in the family, he was born loving beach music, brown and veggie grilled salmon. His LTW is to become a superstar athlete.

Michael was born in a rather big family: his parents, grandparents, great grandmother, two older siblings and Lumikki the dog. And several cousins often coming over or sleeping over. It always felt like a big party to him! Therefore, although still a toddler, he felt rather sad to be left behind with his crazy twin cousins to babysit, when his older brother and sister sneaked out with their cousins to go to Monte Vista on a secret mission. He was very cross with them. Especially when his parents found out and his mother was distressed. However, he soon forgot this old wound when, as a child, he was introduced to one of his sibling's friends from Monte Vista....a very pretty red head named Susie. Even now, he still remembers that moment when he spotted her walking in the neighbour's garden while he was standing on the balcony. How come she ended up living in the neighbour's house for a school exchange period remains a mystery, but he wants to believe it was destiny!

From that day Michael and Susie became inseparable friends and sweethearts. From that young age already, Michael knew she was The One, and that he wanted to marry her one day. Therefore, when after an amazing extended family holiday in Isla Paradiso at his great aunt Giselle hotel it was decided that Susie should go back to Monte Vista with her uncle Rafael and his wife Caroline, Michael's cousin, he couldn't believe his own family was trying to break him apart from the love of his life! So, with the help of his distant cousin Morgana, he eloped with Susie on the very island where his great aunt Giselle had been stranded with her family years before. He though that this way his family would understand that they should not be parted. But despite the bravery, Susie soon started to feel homesick, and when eventually they were "rescued" she agreed to go back home to her mother. Such a lovely holiday ended in a terrible way for poor Michael, who couldn't cope with the thought of not seeing Susie again for long. But one Spooky night, while escorting his younger sisters and their friend Mark to a haunted house, he ended up walking in a secret passage which led to another world. A very spooky world. While trying to take refuge in a local pub, he met the last person he expected, but the only one he had longed to see...Susie! Who in the meanwhile, being very angry at her mother for snatching her away from Appaloosa Plain and Michael's family, had left Monte Vista and had ended up in the place where all rejects end up to...Midnight Hollow. Here she had found out she had magic powers, she had always been a witch and she hadn't known! But her heart was full of darkness and anger and growing up she had acquired the evil trait. There was no going back, she had become an evil witch! But Michael didn't care, evil witch or not, he wanted his Susie back! But it wasn't as easy as he had imagined...because Susie had made a promise to her friend, the mysterious elf Leo, to help him go back home...and she couldn't leave before she had fulfilled her promise...so Michael had to go home on his own again. And again with a broken heart. But this time he had hope...which materialised itself one night of early winter in the form of Leo the elf, who had come to seek for help. He had indeed reached the Elf Kingdom with Susie, but eventually she had been captured by the elven guards - apparently some evil king was ruling the place - so he needed help to go save her.

Michael was so angry and worried he couldn't wait till the morning and escaped during the night, determined to find Susie on his own, the soonest possible. Unluckily, he was also captured on the way, but again, destiny gave him a hand, by making the elven guards lock him up in a cell...with a hidden door leading to Susie's cell! With the help of elf girl Gale, they managed to find a secret passage to get out of the dungeons. And to help the elves restore their true good king!

Finally, Michael and Susie were able to go back home together to Hidden Springs. He's now waiting to ask her to marry him, since his older brother Toby stole him the scene when he announced he was getting married before Snowflake Day. Before getting married, though, Susie needs to do one last thing: she needs to go back to Monte Vista and reconcile with her mother. Only then her heart will be at peace and she'll be able to build a family of her own.

So, is Michael&Susie's troubled story with a happy ending your favourite?

...or perhaps you prefer Amy's story? Together with her twin sister Alice, Amy is the youngest of the family. She was the first born of the twins and she likes R&B music, hot dog and grey. She's still unsure about her LTW: she used to wish to become a rockstar, but the latest events have taken over all her time and energy and she's not sure she'll be able to fulfill her wish...

Amy and Alice have always been very different. In looks and personalities. Quite the opposites, actually, with Amy being the bossy twin, always very self confident and and looking the strongest of the two. She could often be seen ordering her sister around, or tricking her into doing something naughty, or bickering for everything. But in reality, she has always loved her sister and they share a very deep and strong bond. In fact, she can't think of her life without her twin sister at her side, and secretly she knows that she is not at all the strongest minded of the two. Inside, she feels rather insecure, and having her quiet sister by her side helped her showing off as the confident, bossy twin.

As a child, she developed a strong bond also with her older brother Michael, and she was very jealous of Susie, always finding a reason to give her a hard time. So she was secretly happy when she had to go back to Monte Vista, finally she would have her brother back! But in the meanwhile, someone new had come into her life, her classmate Mark. At the beginning she didn't like him at all, and allowed him to play with them just because she knew Alice had a crush on him. But later out she found out, much to Alice's discomfort, that Mark had actually a crush on her. And despite feeling sorry for her sister, she actually liked the idea. But she respected her sister too much, and it was only when her sister Alice started falling for the elf Leo that she allowed her feelings to show, and allowed Mark to call her his girlfriend. And from the day they became teen agers they couldn't keep away from each other. They hang out together at school, outside school, at home, in the garage where they played as a band...but let's say it, every excuse was good to sneak in a dark corner....ah the hormones!

But hormones or not, one thing leads to the other and after Toby's wedding Amy realised...that there was a baby on the way! This moment turned all her world upside down...she hadn't expected this, she wasn't ready to be a mother! She couldn't think of herself as a mother...she was the crazy twin, the rebel twin, she liked going out, she played in a band...she had no time for babies, besides, she was too young! Her sister on the other hand, she should have been a mother! But not herself...and lest of all she could bear to think to the implications with Mark...having a baby was enough already! So when she finally told him and he surprised her by being enthusiastic and offering to marry her or at least move in with her to take care of the baby, she freaked out and turned him down. She soon regretted what she had done but it was too late....or was it? Luckily Mark wasn't one to be put off easily, and on Snowflake Eve he rang the Loves doorbell and had a good talk with his pregnant girlfriend, who finally saw reason! And on Snowflake Day baby Nicholas was born, the first baby of the new generation! Although still in their teens, Amy and Mark feels (finally, in Amy's case) the responsibility of parenthood and are excited to start their new family, grateful to have their family's love and support!

...Or, last but not least, will you vote for Alice? Alice is the second born of the twins and likes Chinese music, Sushi and Brown. She hasn't decided what her LTW will be, but at the moment she wants to be a writer.

Alice was the quiet, sensible twin, who liked to spend hours reading books and making up stories in her dream world. As a child, she was often a little patronised by her twin sister Amy, who liked to order her about and play tricks on her. Alice often felt hurt and frustrated, until she realised that it was Amy's way to feel confident and to show her sister how important she was to her. Being very clever and very kind, Alice let her sister have her ways but secretly knowing to be in charge. This way, the very different twins learnt to use their differences to become a perfect team and to develop an everlasting bond. Growing up, Alice became quite a good friend of Susie, Michael's sweetheart, much to Amy's discomfort. When she left to go back to Monte Vista, Alice became friends with one of their classmates, Mark. Actually, she looked at him as more than a friend, so the shock was immense when she found out that he was actually interested in her twin sister. But being the clever and kind person she was, she got over it rather quickly... although she decided that love wasn't something for her, it was enough to read about it in her books! But destiny thought differently, and soon enough someone else came into her life.... One Spooky Night she had gone to visit a haunted house, with her twin sister, brother Michael and Mark - of course, he couldn't stay away from Amy, although she didn't seem to care much of him... not yet! In the house they had discovered a secret passage which led to another world, Midnight Hollow, a city populated by very strange and spooky people. Here they had unexpectedly met Susie who was trying to help her friend Leo to go back home....to the Elf Kingdom! Alice was fascinated, she had never thought elves really existed outside her books! And Leo was handsome and mysterious... just her type! But it was just an innocent crush, she thought, she was still a child - although her birthday was approaching! - and he was older than she was... besides, she had noticed that he had a thing for Susie... and Alice was actually sorry for him, because she knew that Susie and Michael belonged together. Once home, she thought she would never see Leo again, and she liked to think of him as one dear friend who had impressed her. But one night, there he was, standing right in front of her house! And in that moment she knew that it wasn't just an innocent puppy crush, that he wasn't just one dear friend. And she was excited, because at last her birthday had come and now they were almost equals...now maybe he would see her like a woman, not a child anymore! But she soon realised he had aged up as well...he must have been a lot older than she was...but then again, don't elves have a super long life? Or are they really immortal? So age doesn't really count, does it? He might even have been as old as her great grandmother Juliet! But she couldn't care less, she was just happy to see him again... although she was sad to learn that he had come for help as Susie had been captured! But hey, did this mean they were really going to the Elf Kingdom together? Could she be so lucky to be able to spend so much time with him? Even if he thought of her as a friend, just a friend, it was fine. As long as she could be close to him. And so they left, in a bit of a rush and worry due to Michael having sneaked out alone during the night - great, one more person to trace and save! But sooner than Alice had expected they were in some enchanted forest in the Elf Kingdom. Something was definitely different from what she had read about elves though. It looked like they were evil! Or better, their current king was. But still, Alice couldn't help to feel over the moon, although this feeling she kept very secret, even from her sister - but she guessed Amy might have suspected something anyway. The travel made Alice's friendship with Leo grow stronger... and deeper... wait, was it possible that he returned her feelings? Too good to be true! But when eventually the adventure was over and the real good king was in his place again - OMG, was that really Leo?! - Alice's thoughts were confirmed.... he really loved her back! And after a very romantic dance and evening she got her first kiss...from the man of her dreams! Who one minute later proposed to her! All her dreams were coming true, Alice couldn't believe it, she was over the moon, she was flying .... until her dreams were totally shattered, when she realised that being the King, Leo couldn't get away from his kingdom... and she couldn't stay. Despite how much she wanted, she couldn't just leave her family and become the Queen of the Elf Kingdom. This kind of things were perfect in books... but life was different and there were other things to take into account. So with broken hearts Alice and Leo said goodbye forever...and a very different Alice made her way back to Hidden Springs. She became moody and grumpy and frustrated, and even fell out with her twin sister Amy, who was trying to help. Luckily there was Scarlette, Toby's girlfriend, who seemed to understand her better than others...and her big sister Catherine, who was going through a similar experience after her boyfriend Jay had left. When Alice started feeling a little bit better, she decided once again, but once and for all this time, that she would never ever let love come into her life, ever again!

Besides, she had other things to think about now that Amy had told her she was expecting a baby... at least this had brought the twins together again! Sometimes she thought what she should do without a man...maybe she could move in with Catherine and become two old sisters together! But still, on Snowflake Eve she made a hopeless wish to Santa Plumbob... and he must have listened to her, because he gave a lift to a wandering Leo on his sledge! And brought him to Love house. Alice couldn't believe her eyes, when she was woken up by Lumikki barking on the wee hours of Snowflake morning...Leo was standing right there, next to her Snowflake tree! He had come back to her at last, her wish had been granted! Wait, what? What did he mean by "the Elf Kingdom has a new Queen"? Holy Plumbob he had done all that long travel to tell her...he had got married? Alice was fuming! Oh, no, he meant his sister had accepted to be Queen...well, he could have said it earlier, couldn't he? Men.... Wait, if his sister was the Queen...did it mean.... yes! He had left his kingdom to come to her...to be with her...forever! So it wasn't just in books, her story could have a happy ending too! Not even in her sweetest dream she had thought she could be that happy.
