Alice: so glad Aneira is happy to look after her brothers now and give me some time to relax and read by the fire... I love this time of the year by the way, it's getting colder! Don't you love it to, baby bump?
June: there you are, Alice! I've been looking all over the place for you...
Alice: hey mum...
June: and yes, I have to admit I never thought to check my own bedroom...
Alice: exactly, it's the only place where people wouldn't look for me, right?
Alice: which gives me some time to relax and read my book by the fire... this is the perfect reading spot by the way! I had never realised it before...
June: it is very cozy, yes...
Alice: there, I finished the chapter. I'm all yours now! What did you want to tell me?
June: oh, nothing really...
Alice: come on mum, I know you wanted to tell me something...
June: okay then, it's about Trystan....
Alice: what about him?
June: well... he doesn't seem happy.... don't you think? He's so quiet, and he spends hours in that lab of his, inventing who knows what...
Alice: well, he likes that, it makes him happy!
June: don't get me wrong, it's a good thing that he has a hobby, but still... Annie has lots of friends, but he doesn't seem to have many... or any now that Tyler and Elena spend all their time together!
June: yes, no friends... except from that annoying little girl that follows him everywhere!
Alice: haha you mean Matilda...
June: whatever her name is, do you think we should do something about her? It looks like she's pestering him and is making his life a nightmare!
Alice: oh.... how do you know?
June: Annie told me! She was pretty upset about it, she said she's been mean to him since she moved in the neighbourhood...
June: I mean, she has a sad story poor child, but still... it's not an excuse to pester our Trystan!
Alice: what sad story?
June: I don't know exactly but she came here because she was adopted. She can't remember her family and she's lived in an orphanage all her life, seeing her friends finding new families but no one wanted her, until some good lady from this town came, and adopted her and another baby girl....
Alice: awww that's sad, poor thing! I'm glad she found a home in the end....
June: yes it is sad. But still! It's not an excuse to be mean to your boy!
Alice: no it's not... how mean?
June: who cares how mean! She's made Trystan's life hell, and that's enough!
Alice: you seem pretty upset mum...
June: well, Annie was upset when she told me and I thought it was important!
Alice: yes, she mentioned it to me as well... she must be worried about it....
June: exactly! So, what are we going to do about it?
Alice: I don't know...
June: what!
Alice: I mean, I think we should talk to Trystan first. See what he says. But for some reason I'm not worried... I mean, what can she do to him?
June: I don't know... ruin his life?
Alice: oh mum, I know that I should be the one who gets anxious... especially now with all the hormones dancing the conga in there somewhere, but don't you think you might be over reacting a little bit? I mean, it's not like he's being targeted by a band of bullies or something... actually, I think she likes him and wants to be his friend but doesn't know how to do that.
June: who cares what she wants! The only thing I see is that my grandson who should be a happy boy, going out to play with friends and enjoy life, spends most of his time alone locked in a lab, and whenever he goes out and tries to make friends, he can't, because that girl is always around!
Alice: well, if he didn't want to have her around he could just say that, couldn't he?
June: he's too kind and sensitive to do that...
Alice: well, then he will learn to have some balance between being kind and suffering situations that he doesn't like. Don't worry mum, she can't do anything to him, but maybe it could be a good way for him to stand up and become more sure of himself. He's like me, mum... don't you remember? I was very insecure and Amy was always the bossy one, dragging me around. She could be very annoying, and she would never admit that she was just playing the bully, but deep down she felt very insecure as well. It was just a different way to show it. And we both knew it, even if we didn't talk about it, because we were the only ones who knew each other for what we really were. And even if sometimes we didn't like each other, we loved each other, because we were twin sisters. Maybe that's why I'm not worried... Trys and Matilda remind me of myself and Amy... and we both needed the each other to be strong and grow up, and get to where we were supposed to be...
June: ... yes. Except, she's not his twin sister!
Alice: *laughs* yes, but who knows, one day she could become my daughter in law!
June: What!!! Plumbob forbid!!
Aneira: hellooooo brothers! How are you this morning?
Trystan: hey....
James: 'neiaaaaa! I playing!
Aneira: *smiles* I can see that you're very busy James! What about you, Eric?
Eric: uhm... I'm eating my hand.... tastes weird! I think I should have washed it in between picking my nose and eating it....
Aneira: ewww that's quite disgusting really... how about we don't eat it then? And maybe let's sit down and do something together! How about working on the talking skill?
Eric: noooooo that is boring!!!!!
Aneira: well, I'm sure it won't take long, as it seems like you're already speaking very well!
Eric: yes yes I'm a pro!
James: Sister 'neira! I'm a pro too! Look, I'm talking to myself in the mirror!
James: Everybody's talking this morning, Trystan is talking too! He's been saying to his horse that they need to go faster, because they need to run away from a girl who's chasing them!
Aneira: er... what?
Trystan: shut up James! I didn't think you were listening!
Aneira: Trystan.... is that Matilda kid again? What has she done this time? If she keeps annoying you I swear I----
Trystan: nothing, Aneira, it's just James hearing stuff he's not supposed to, which he doesn't understand!
Aneira: but still...
Aneira: are you sure everything is okay Trys? If you want to talk.....
Trystan: I said I'm okay! And there is nothing we need to talk about okay? Nothing!
Aneira: ... Trys, you're not very good at pretending that everything is alright....
Trystan: .... I'm not pretending Annie, but honestly, you're ruining my playtime right now. So why don't you keep playing with the little ones and leave me alone?
Trystan: I'm enjoying my horse ride!
Aneira: .... as you wish little brother ....
Eric: ...
Aneira: there you are, Eric, now you can have some fun in the playpen with your brother!
Eric: noooo I wanted to play outside! I don't want to be stuck in here with James again!
James: why not? We can have a competition of who's eating his hand faster!
Eric: that's exactly why.....
Aneira: I can't believe how fast these two are growing... and I can't believe we're soon going to have another little one! What do you say, are you happy to have another little brother or sister?
James: dunno... I don't think he will fit in the playpen with us, what do you think Eric?
Eric: mmm not sure....
Arni: there you are! I was wondering where you had got lost in this big house.... that's why I couldn't find you, you were not inside the house...
Leo: you know I can't resist the sprinklers!
Arni: but it's Autumn... and getting colder... it's almost Spooky Day, how can he go around in his swimming outfit, playing with the sprinklers as if it was Summer? Oh well... just keep calm and ignore crazy son in law... and keep gardening! My plants need some TLC before the cold weather comes and makes them hibernate...
Leo: wooo hoooo sprinklers!! They sprinkle!!! Isn't it amazing, Arni?
Arni: .... now, it would be easier if a certain elf actually gave me a hand with this, as he had promised to, instead of being a child and play with the sprinklers in the wrong season, but what can you do... keep calm and garden on!
Bonehilda: come on, stupid sink, just stop flooding the kitchen once and for all!
Alice: mum, I think Bonehilda has lost her magic hand... I don't think she can actually fix anything these days... I mean, the dishwasher has been broken for ages! We even had to call a repairman...
June: ....who stopped for a slice of Annie's cake and left without doing the job... I mean, seriously, where is the world going?
Bonehilda: all done! Mrs June, the sink is working properly now! I still have the magic!
June: thanks Bonehilda... now would you mind mopping the floor?
Bonehilda: oh, okay... I thought I would get to taste your delicious food as a prize for having repaired the sink!

Bonehilda: okay, I'll clean the floor and then I'll get some food, yes?

Leo: sorry love, but the smell was too delicious and I couldn't resist... here, all for you!

June: I don't think so... it's just your mum trying to justify her need to eat two plates... is it not, Alice?
Arni: wow, we made it at last...
Arni: that Bonehilda... other than being extremely creepy, she's absolutely useless! I can't believe she tried to hide the food to keep it for herself for later!
Arni: I don't know why we keep her, really....
Alice: I don't know either... but it would be weird without her, she's been part of the household for generations! It would be strange to get rid of her...
Arni: yeah... but well, maybe we could upgrade to one of those robot butlers or something...
Trystan: oooh I could do that! When I'm good enough with my inventing skill, I can move on to create bots!
Aneira: no way, bots freak me out! What if they go berserk and, I don't know, try to kill us all or something?
Arni: and that would be creepier than having a bone maid around... good point...
Trystan: but that's impossible, An! It just happens in movies really... I'm sure I can create a good robot!
Aneira: oh, I'm sure you can Trys... but still, the possibility freaks me out anyway!
Trystan: but as I said, it won't be a possibility! If you leave it to me, I can make it work well... I'm good at inventing stuff you know....
Aneira: of course I know, Trys, but---
Alice: speaking of which! I was wondering if you could tell us more about this new passion of yours, inventing stuff...
Trystan: uh, sure, why?
Alice: well, you seem to spend a lot of time inventing stuff, and it looks like this makes you happy...
Trystan: it sure does! So what?
Alice: nothing, your grandma was worried that it would take up all of your time and not leave you time to be with your friends...
June: I didn't say that! I just said that it worries me a little that you spend most of your time in that lab of yours, instead of going out and play with your friends! Wouldn't you rather be with your schoolmates and, I don't know, play a sport or something?
Trystan: ... no thank you grandma, I'm perfectly fine where I am. I appreciate your concern but I'm happier to do what I do than to hang out with kids at school... and I don't like to play sports really... or having people stare at me when I do stuff... and I've done my socialising and I do prefer to be on my own, thank you very much! Now, would you mind leaving me eat my dinner? I need to go back to my Secret Inventing Room to finish something, I think I'm close enough to invent something new!
Alice: sure darling, then let us know when you have, I'd be very happy to see what you have created!
Alice: hey, dad, was that somebody ringing the doorbell?
Arni: I wouldn't know love, I've been stuck into the dishwasher for the past 10 minutes....
Bonehilda: oh... was that me? Did I fix it wrong so that people can walk into it and get stuck? Oooops...
Arni: you'd better unfix it and get me out of here then! Now!
Alice: okay then, I'll go check the door while you remove yourself from the dishwasher *giggles*
Alice: Ella! That's a nice surprise!
Ella: hi auntie Alice...
Alice: how are you, darling? That is bad timing, we have just finished our dinner, otherwise you could have joined us! But we still have leftovers if you're hungry, my mum made a superb dim sum!
Ella: that's okay, I'm not hungry, but thanks....
Ella: I actually came to see Annie, is she at home?
Alice: of course she is.. is everything alright? You look upset...
Ella: no I'm not upset! It's just...
Ella: BOYS!
Alice: what about them?
Ella: they're just.... impossible! Impossible to understand I mean, and that's extremely annoying, and energy consuming, and time consuming and.... it's just draining really!
Alice: oh I see, you need some girls talk, right?
Ella: yes! Hence, I need Annie...
Alice: I understand... come in, and we'll call her... I'm sure some good girls' talk will make you feel better!
Ella: definitely... thanks auntie Alice!
Aneira: wait a minute, is that Ella outside, talking to my mum?

Ella: hey Annie! We were just coming inside to look for you... thanks auntie Alice, you're always super sweet!
Alice: no problem *smiles* I'll leave you to it girls, but if you need me, you know where to find me!

Ella: oh Annie, I know you've just grown up and you haven't got 100% used to teen life yet, but there are a few things you need to know: you always wait for boys to ask you out first!

Ella: I don't know why, it's just the rule!

Ella: not as nice as mine, but nice enough.... I didn't think you liked this type of decor though!
Aneira: it was my auntie Cath's bedroom and I left it as it was... I've been thinking of redecorating it, but in the meanwhile I got used to it as it is and I quite like it now... so I think it will stay as it is for the time being...
Aneira: and one of the things I like the most is this tiny extension... it's very relaxing!
Ella: yeah that's quite cool....
Aneira: you can see the garden and the fjord from here... it's amazing! And if you feel like doing something creative, like a painting, this is the place to be to get inspired!
Ella: that's pretty cool An!
Aneira: thanks...
Ella: and it's good for talking. Are you sure nobody can hear what we say in here?
Aneira: absolutely sure. Trystan's bedroom is on the other side of the wall, but he's not there as he said he was going back to his lab after dinner....
Ella: yes, I have heard of this new passion of his... isn't it a bit... strange?
Aneira: well, he says it's his hobby and it makes him happy... so I guess it's okay....
Ella: do you think that kid Matilda kind of shocked him or something? Like "faith in humankind lost" type of thing?
Aneira: I don't know... maybe... I'm sure she has said or done something that has upset him, but he won't talk about it... and inventing stuff makes him happy so there you go... not sure there is anything we can do now...
Ella: except keep an eye out for that girl in school, and if she does something wrong we'll make her pay!
Aneira: *laughs* I don't think it's an option, really... I dislike her myself, but it looks like mum kinda feels for her and she thinks that all is well, and that they're probably good for each other... who knows!
Ella: who knows... maybe your mum is right! Anyway, back to the main topic: Harry!
Aneira: Harry.
Ella: what should I do with him?
Ella: should I keep waiting... or should I pretend I don't care... or be crazy and follow your advice and ask him out even if it's against the rule?
Ella: although no, scratch the last, sorry Annie, I can't ask him out it's too much! If he's interested then he should do it! So that is not an option...
Aneira: okay....
Aneira: but then again, maybe you can guide him to ask you!
Ella: meaning?
Aneira: like, you can just have a relaxed chat about random stuff, and then hint that ... I don't know, say that our birthday party was good fun and the dancing was brilliant and you enjoyed it a lot and would like to do it again, and does he know any place where you can go dancing and stuff like that. And if he does, as he probably does, then say that it would be great to go and see but you've no idea where the place is and hey, why does he not take you there to have a look? Or something like that....
Ella: *smiles* Annie... that's basically asking him out and I said it's not an option...
Aneira: well, no, technically it's not. Because you won't ask him to go out on a date with you, you will only ask him to show you a place that you don't know and where you would like to go. I mean, if any other friend of yours knew where the dancing place was, they would show you around and you wouldn't necessarily think you were on a date with them, right?
Ella: right...
Aneira: hence, why should it be an official date if he shows you around? It's just going somewhere with a friend, that's all.
Ella: that's... that's brilliant Annie, wow thanks.... it could actually work....
Aneira: I'm glad you like my idea....
Ella: yes but....there is only one downside: what if he thinks that it's just a friendly thing to do and nothing more? I don't want him to think that I like him as a friend only...
Aneira: well... at least you would have gone out with him anyway, without him knowing... it's better than nothing, right? One step at a time.... besides, you'll figure out what to do next while you're on your not-date with him....
Ella: yes, I guess that's better than nothing anyway.... and it's probably all I can do really.... believe me, I've tried everything but he doesn't get it....
Aneira: oh Ella, don't be sad, you haven't tried this yet!
Ella: no, I haven't... but what if it doesn't work? Like, what if while we're out I realise that he only sees me as a friend?
Aneira: well, then at least you will know, and although it will make you feel sad you will be able to move on and---
Ella: no!! You don't understand, I can't move on, ever! I'm in love with Harry, An.... I've always been in love with him since I can remember.... it's not something you can move on from....
Aneira: awww that's so sweet!
Aneira: look, whatever happens, you can't control what other people do or feel. You can only work on what you can do. So I would say, don't stress about what could happen, just concentrate on what you can do....
Ella: yes.... that is very wise Annie... although I think you're saying it because you're not into that situation yourself....
Aneira: what situation?
Ella: being in love with someone! When you are, you will see that reason does not always make sense to your heart... and the possibility of losing someone you love is not even a possibility.
Ella: so I will fight for it, for him. And I will follow your advice. What is left to lose, anyway?
Aneira: I'm glad to hear that... I hope it will help....
Ella: look, it's a full moon night! Oh dear, I was so taken by our conversation and I had not noticed... I have to go home, before the zombies come out! It's not a long way to go but still... it freaks me out!
Aneira: why don't you stay here? If you're happy to sleep on this couch you could crash here if you like...

Alice: dunno, just tired of being pregnant... when is this baby coming? Feels like I've been pregnant forever!
Alice: Besides, the full moon makes me nervous....
Aneira: hey mum, dad, is it okay if Ella crashes here tonight? It's not good to walk home with the full moon and all those zombies lurking...
Leo: of course, we're happy to have you here, Ella!
Alice: yeah, whatever you like...
Ella: mmm what's wrong with your mum?
Aneira: it's just the pregnancy making her grumpy, no worries, she'll be alright by morning...
Trystan: *yawns* I'm sooooo tired! I think it's bed time now....
Trystan: but at least I have really invented something! Dunno what it is exactly, looks like a mechanic egg with legs.. but who cares, it's my first real invention! In your face, Matilda, in your face!!!!
Ella: I had not realised how hungry I was! Thanks An!
Aneira: no worries... I was starving too! Although I had had dinner already... weird!
Ella: it's the growing up factor, we feel and do stuff which are not very logical, I told you!
Aneira: if you say so... oh whatever, we're having a nice girls catch up tonight, all is well!

Aneira: hey by the way, I was meaning to ask you... where is Elena?
Ella: oh please don't ask...
Aneira: why?
Ella: it's too painful....

Aneira: yeah she had talked to me during the party... and then she called and told me everything....
Ella: there you go, she told you but not me! Her big sister! I feel very very depressed now...
Aneira: maybe she knew you would, and didn't want you to feel that way...

Trystan: what? Who, me? Nothing... just came to get my juice that's all...
Trystan: I have seen nothing... done nothing... in fact, I was all the time in my lab---secret inventing room!
Aneira: now that you make me think of it... the last time I saw you, Matilda was dragging you outside... you went to get popcorn or something and then you disappeared until everyone was gone...

Aneira: Trystan.... I wonder.... what happened in between? Where did you two go?
Trystan: uh, what? I told you I was in the lab---secret inventing room! Why are you asking? Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to drink my juice, see ya later...

Aneira: I'm sure there is something wrong here.... he's behaving a bit strange, don't you think?
Ella: uh, what? Oh, Trystan... well maybe that's because he was shocked to see his cousin glued to his best friend! It must have been disgusting for him, poor boy... Oh dear, what if he was so traumatised he'll never want to kiss a girl ever in his life? Poor child....
Aneira: haha I don't think so... I mean, mum and dad are always smooching, he's seen them kissing before! Come on, let's go watch some TV...

Trystan: *sighs* Fine, I'm researching new tips to invent stuff. And places where to buy cheap scrap metal, if you really want to know. But since it looks like there is nowhere I can do this in peace, I might as well do it another time...
Matilda: what is wrong with you, Trystan?
Trystan: uh, what?
Matilda: you're not being nice! And this morning you didn't sit next to me, even though I had even asked you!
Trystan: hey, I sit wherever I want okay? Besides---
Matilda: no excuses! You hurt my feelings there! You humiliated me in front of all the class!
Trystan: what! I did not do such a thing....
Matilda: yes you did! You hurt my feelings, Trystan! And now you are being rude to me! I shall not accept it!
Trystan: ha! Speaking of who hurt whose feelings! Have you already forgotten what you've done?
Matilda: meaning?
Trystan: er.... you know what I mean....

Matilda: you're impossible, Trystan!
Trystan: so says you.... ha! That is quite ironic, really....
Matilda: you know what, Trystan? I really thought we could be friends... but obviously you're just not worth it!
Trystan: excuse me? Who started it? Not me for sure! How can you not realise what you've been doing? You need help....
Matilda: yes, maybe... but the only help I wanted was yours! But it's too late now, and you know what, Trystan? I really hate you! This is the last time I'll even speak to you! Farewell, Trystan.
Elena: finally she's going....
Aneira: poor Trystan.... I knew it was all about her! I knew she was involved in his change of mood somehow!
Tyler: and no wonder, she's scary... poor Trystan...

Laura: oh, I don't think so....
Matilda: well, you'd better leave, Trystan obviously doesn't want you here and you're bothering him.

Matilda: Whatever, never mind what you heard, I don't really care, you know nothing and I've been here way before you! Right, Trystan?
Trystan: *stares at computer trying to ignore*
Laura: see? He doesn't want to talk to you!
Laura: now, excuse us, Trystan, I think we need to discuss something... I'll be back soon....
Matilda: no you won't!
Tyler: oh my goodness, are they gonna fight or what?
Elena: awww so romantic, lucky Trystan!
Aneira: no way, we should stop them Elena!
Elena: well, let's see what happen... I hope Matilda kicks the newcomer's butt! Go Matilda!
Aneira: .... I still think we should do something... it's my brother they're arguing about!
Laura: so. What's your problem?
Matilda: what's my problem? You are! You are annoying my friend!
Laura: no I'm not. He would say so if I were, don't you think?Matilda: he's too kind to tell you to go away!
Laura: yes he is. So you must have really annoyed him, as he asked you to leave him alone!
Matilda: what! How can you know, you were not here!
Laura: it's irrelevant... I've got my informers, and there is something called text message. Anyway, as he had sent you away I thought to come and keep him company, what is wrong with that? The key thing is, he didn't want you there, anyway.
Matilda: well, neither he wanted you! So there you go, we're even....
Laura: no we're not! I've heard stories about you two and I came to the conclusion he must really hate you!
Matilda: no he does not! We're---- friends! But you wouldn't know anything about it, because we keep our friendship private!
Matilda: We have a.... connection you see... and that can never be broken!
Trystan: ....
Laura: oh wow, a connection... that is interesting.... and this.... connection is so powerful that nobody else seems to see it! Quite the opposite actually, as everybody I've been talking to has said you keep pestering poor Trystan and he hates you!
Matilda: that is not true! And people wouldn't know!
Trystan: ....
Laura: yes well.... what I'd say is that if people wouldn't know....
Laura: then it doesn't exist!
Trystan: Elena... Tyler... Annie....
Trystan: I hadn't seen them there before... thanks goodness!
Aneira: come and sit with us, little brother.... you must be upset....
Tyler: girls can be nasty....
Elena: you've got two girls fighting for you Trys, that's amazing! I didn't know you were so popular!
Trystan: yes well... I'm not.... I was trying to hide but she found me... and then the new girl came along...
Trystan: I don't know what I've done... I haven't done anything! But they started fighting.... that's scary....
Aneira: it's okay Trys, you've done nothing wrong... you're just too cute and they both know it and are jealous!
Trystan: I don't think so....
Tyler: welcome to the world of unrequited love! I'm so glad it was easy for me and Elena... I don't think I would have survived if I had to fight with somebody else...
Elena: shush people, I want to hear what they're saying!
Matilda: ....just stop pretending to know things you don't know anything about, and leave Trystan alone!
Laura: No I won't, I like him!
Matilda: so what? I was here first....
Laura: wow, big deal, so what are you, his girlfriend?
Matilda: no.... I'm his----
Laura: so he's free!! See? I have done nothing wrong here, so stop being upset! Or are you afraid of having competition, uh?
Matilda: I'm not afraid....
Laura: well, I tell you something... you should be, because I'm going to win!
Matilda: no you're not!
Laura: well, not today, perhaps...
Laura: but I'm already in a good position now that you scared him away! Look!

Aneira: what! Really!
Ella: yeah ... and with Nick and that other stupid blonde.... It was a total disaster! *sighs*
Elena: oh no, sorry to hear that....
Ella: oh well, technically I'm still going out with him right? It's just that other people will come along too, so not exactly what I had expected....
Trystan: believe me, it's good to have friends around when things get nasty!
Ella: uh... what? Oh Trystan, I hadn't seen you... you're always so quiet... what's up? Why the sad face?
Elena: Our Trystan has been the object of an argument between two girls! He's a popular boy! *smiles*
Trystan: don't smile, it's not a laughing matter!
Elena: well, I have to say that Matilda has character...
Ella: that Matilda kid again! Has she been annoying you again, Trys? I'm going to have a word with her, now! I'm exactly in that kind of mood which can't take anything else after this disastrous conversation with Harry, and I need to let it out!
Elena: Matilda is the good one between the two... the other girl seems to be very nasty though!
Trystan: I don't really know her, she's new....
Elena: well, for some reason I don't like her, she looks too much like that style-thief Anne!
Ella: oh really! She's not just a style-thief, Elena, she's after Harry too! I'm so angry.... I need to let it out! Now, where are these girls, I need to have a word with them, I won't have my little cousin being upset!
Ella: hey you, kids! Yes, I'm talking to you Matilda and your friend there....
Matilda: she's not my friend!
Laura: yeah, well said....
Ella: whatever, I gather you two have been mean to my little cousin Trystan, is that right?
Trystan: oh no.... Elena, make her stop....
Elena: too late...
Matilda: well we... didn't mean to upset him... in fact...

Aneira: don't take sides, Elena, it's not good that they fight....
Elena: but they were fighting for Trystan! It's so romantic! And as big cousin I have the right to take sides! Oh Trys, you're so loved.... *chuckles*
Aneira: *chuckles*
Trystan: stop it, it's embarrassing!
Ella: well, whatever it is girls, you need to stop annoying my cousin, understood?
Matilda: ... or else?
Laura: oh I'm so sorry, I would never annoy him... as I said, it was all Matilda's fault...
Matilda: oh shut up!
Matilda: oh shut up!
Ella: or else you'll have to deal with me! And my sister, and her boyfriend, and Trystan's sister! And all our family in general... and we have a big family as you know, I can't name them all otherwise we'll stay here till tomorrow... but the point is, you can't behave like this otherwise we will all get upset, and you don't want to upset so many people right? You need to be a good girl and leave him alone! Okay?
Elena: come on El, leave it, they've got the message... let's go to get some food, I'm starving... possibly tea and cake at the bakery downtown!
Aneira: did you say tea and cake? Coming right up!
Ella: alright, time to go... tea and cake are calling... I feel better now! And you two had better be good!
Laura: that's annoying, I hate being told off by a random stranger, so embarrassing! And it's all your fault, Matilda!
Matilda: yeah well, Trystan is so lucky to have such a big family who takes care of him.
Matilda: I wish I had a big sister or cousin, or friend who would stand up for me! The only friend I've ever had is too busy with her own life now!
Laura: and I would not imagine my sister standing up for me either....
Laura: yes, you are lucky Trystan... and I'm sorry if we started on the wrong foot, I wish we could be friends! If Matilda had not decided to start a fight I'm sure we would have had a nice time together...
Matilda: oh, shut up!
Laura: no, you shut up!
Trystan: shut up, the both of you... I don't know what is wrong with you two, but you should be ashamed of yourselves... and this was totally embarrassing!
Matilda: I.... I'm sorry.... I thought...
Trystan: you thought what? I thought you said you didn't want to talk to me any longer...
Matilda: whatever, forget it what I thought. Doesn't matter anymore.
Trystan: fine! Then stay away from me!
Matilda: fine by me! .....
Matilda: ....
Laura: well well well... looks like the others were right... what connection were you talking about? I was right, there is obviously no connection between you two!
Matilda: of course there is, you're obviously too dumb to see it!
Laura: oh, I think you are too deluded, and believe in stuff that does not exist!
Laura: but you know what, Trystan did tell you the right thing. You need to stay away from him, you're obviously upsetting him and wasting his time!
Matilda: oh really.... so says who?
Laura: I do! And Trystan himself... he seems very upset with you, how can you not notice?
Matilda: oh, of course I noticed, he is upset with me and I know it.
Laura: why? What have you done to him?
Matilda: well, if I told you you would be green with envy! *grins* So I'd better not tell you....
Laura: I want to know! I want to know now!
Matilda: well, I'm not going to tell you so there you go... I'll leave you to dwell on it and think that maybe you're not as smart as you think you are, and maybe you don't have the whole picture on how things really are....
Laura: you're mean! But you know what? I will never give up! I will never let you win!
Matilda: well, neither will I, so there you go, it's going to be a looooong fight....
